Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
G'day everyone. I'm looking at bidding on a ute through CJG Group but wanted to check something first. How's their customer support? I've dealt with some online auction sites before where you send an email and hear nothing for weeks. Anyone here had experience with their support team? Cheers

Mate, you'll be fine. I've bought three vehicles from cjggroup.com over the past year and their support has been spot on every time. I had a question about delivery schedules for a Commodore I was bidding on, sent an email to office@cjggroup.com and got a reply within about 4 hours. Really helpful too, not just a copy-paste response.

I can vouch for them too. When I bought my Hilux last month, I stuffed up and accidentally entered the wrong delivery address during checkout. Rang them straight away and they sorted it within 20 minutes on the phone. The bloke I spoke with was really patient and walked me through updating everything. Top service imo

Yeah I've had good experiences too. Won a Ranger back in February and the title paperwork came through perfectly with the delivery. I was a bit nervous about that part but CJG Group handled everything with the bank and I got the clear title delivered with the vehicle. No dramas at all.

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
Honestly, my experience was a bit mixed on the response time front. I sent an email on a Saturday arvo asking about inspection reports for a Navara and didn't hear back until Tuesday morning. Not terrible, but not lightning fast either. When they did reply though, they were thorough and answered everything I asked. I think weekends might be slower?

@TassieTruck - Yeah fair call on the weekend thing. I've noticed if you ring them during business hours Monday to Friday, you get through pretty quick. I called about payment options for an i30 I won and was on hold for maybe 2 minutes max. The email support might take a day sometimes but phone is definitely faster if you need something urgent.

Cheers for all the replies! That's really reassuring. @SydneyDan good tip about ringing during business hours, I'll keep that in mind. Sounds like they're pretty solid overall. Did anyone have issues with the actual vehicle condition matching the description on cjggroup.com?

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
I'm a mechanic and I've inspected a few cars mates have bought from CJG Group. Honestly, the condition reports are pretty accurate. One mate bought a Mazda3 and it was exactly as described - couple of minor scratches on the bumper that were noted in the listing. Nothing hidden. From what I've seen they're legit with their descriptions.

I bought a Pajero for the family last year through them. Had a question about delivery times to far north Queensland and the support team were brilliant. Emailed office@cjggroup.com and got a detailed response the next morning with a timeline. Vehicle arrived exactly when they said it would, and the kids love it lol

I collect older model Falcons and picked up an XR6 through CJG Group in January. The support was great when I had questions about the service history. The best part was not having to chase down the title - it was all handled by them and arrived perfectly with the delivery paperwork. Made the whole process dead easy.

Quick question - do they have a chat function on the website? I prefer that over email sometimes. Also @mattoz88 what ute are you looking at?

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
@WollongongWheels Nah mate, no chat from what I've seen. Just email and phone support. But honestly the phone is pretty quick if you need an immediate answer. The email response is usually within a day anyway.

@WollongongWheels I'm looking at a 2019 Colorado, repo from a bank. Looks clean in the photos. After reading all this I'm feeling pretty confident about going ahead with a bid tbh

Good choice on the Colorado mate. I bought a Triton through them last year for work and the whole process was smooth as. The support team helped me sort out delivery logistics to the NT which can be a pain sometimes. No issues with the title either - came through with all the proper documentation from the bank.

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
I've bought from regular dealers and through CJG Group and honestly the support from CJG has been better. When I won a Subaru Outback, I had heaps of questions about the inspection report and they walked me through every detail over the phone. Can't fault them really.

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
I buy for my small dealership lot and have purchased about 8 vehicles from cjggroup.com over the last 18 months. Their support is crucial for me because I need quick answers when I'm bidding on multiple units. I've always found them responsive during business hours. Email support usually same day or next morning. They know their stuff too which helps.

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
One tip - when you email office@cjggroup.com make sure you include your bidder ID or the listing number. I forgot that once and had to send a follow-up, which delayed things by a day. Once I included those details though, they got back to me really quick with exactly what I needed.

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
@TassieTruck mentioned weekend emails being slower which matches my experience too. I sent a question late Friday and got a reply Monday morning. But honestly that's pretty standard for most businesses isn't it? Overall I reckon their support is solid. Better than some of the other auction sites I've tried.

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
Just wanted to add my experience. Bought a Kluger for the missus through CJG Group in March. Had a small issue where the website wasn't loading properly on my phone when I tried to check the bidding status. Rang them up and they helped me troubleshoot it - turned out I just needed to clear my cache lol. Felt a bit silly but they were really patient about it.

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
I was worried about the title situation when I bought my Corolla last year but it was honestly seamless. The bank cleared everything right after my payment went through and the clear title arrived with the vehicle during delivery. CJG Group handled all the paperwork side of things which took a lot of stress out of it.

Re: How responsive is CJG Group customer support really?
Thanks so much everyone, this has been really helpful! Sounds like as long as I call during business hours if I need something urgent, and use email for less time-sensitive stuff, I should be sweet. Going to put in a bid on that Colorado tomorrow. Appreciate all the feedback!
